    • Here's a piece that's hard to show under normal circumstances.  That's because instead of one drawing it's a series of gifs.  A couple years ago I took a comics class at my college, and for many of my assignments I decided to make animated comic pages with animated panels.  This is one of them: "Kitten Patrol", a short one-off strip done in a 1920s style.  I only spent a couple days on the assignment, so the animation is pretty cheesy.  But feel free to take a look by clicking here! (the link goes to an album on behance.net)

    • So i stumbled upon a fun little game. So your supposed to Roll A die 3 times. Each number corresponding with a part of a catagory.

you can use your own die or use this online random number generator (put the min at 0 and the max at 9 and get 3 different numbers)

Its a good excertsize for getting to experiment and draw things you usually would never draw. I ended up rolling a 494 and had to draw a muscular native american blacksmith. Needless to say that is not something id usually draw. But i had a bunch of fun drawing it!

Id like for you all to take a stab at it and just have fun doing it! ^^ oh and please, feel free to post the results here, I would LOVE to see what you guys managed to come up with!

      ___________

This year, I would like to wish you a merry Christmas in a very special way.

2016 is about to end and I have too many stories to add into my memories. One of these rememberings is a dream made truth: I've started to learn martial arts. This summer I began my hapkido lessons and I really love them! That's because I've chosen to draw a martial artist 'preparing' his Christmas tree this year!

I'm thankful with my master and classmates, but also with my friends and family. Besides, I want to give a very special hug to David who is always supporting me (I love you so much, dear).

Of course, thanks to everyone watching this video. I hope you like it ☺

    • Hi all,

This is our first post here - we're Cosmic Monocle a new animation partnership based in Sheffield, UK

As our first original project alongside client work, we've been producing a series of 1-minute animated music videos. The goal is to have each episode produced from conception to completion in less than two weeks!

Here is a link to the YouTube playlist - we'd love to know what you think!

      Thanks!

    • Well, I found out I can't make an album of animated gifs! So as a work around, I figure it'd be cool to make a forum for them instead :B

I like making these as practice. I need to be more proactive and make more. I can use this as a place to upload gifs that loop or just progress gifs. This isn't in the critique forum because it's more for fun but by all means, feel free to make comments/suggestions (just keep in mind most of these are for fun/not serious)

Anyways here's Eleven from Stranger Things--gotta love that powerful little girl

OH and--feel free to post your own if you so choose!
