  Mario, can you speak Polish fluently?
  I'm the youngest child in my family...so my parents kind of just gave up on trying to teach me :p

  Meri, yea I think "chak" is a pretty common way to pronounce it especially in Poland. The English language kind of has a way of tweaking the czyk.
  
  Amanda, I used to speak fluently but then I forgot it over the years. I wish I still knew it because it would have come in handy when I went to Poland! Cool though. You're Polish too eh? Zima?

  Ah, that seems to happen. I went to Poland once for a month and I was able to communicate better in Polish, but then forgot everything a few weeks after. I understand a lot more than I can speak though, somehow the grammer just doesn't stick in my head. Which sucks because I can't really talk with my Grandma :p

  yea that's exactly where I'm at too. basic polish conversation abilities.

  Yahoo!! I've been saying it right in my head all these years! I used to be SCADGirl, BTW, but I was mostly a lurker. Do the old forums exist in any form??
