I'm just going to say a few little things.
First off, your still life experience is kind of translating into your figures. Every line is too straight, geometric, and literal. You have the shape of the figure but not the sense flow or movement (if that makes sense). Loosen up ALOT and use your entire arm when drawing.
Secondly, even though its just gestures, still try to define some volume. Everything looks really flat. Practice drawing simple shapes such as boxes and cylinders.
After warming up with those, add some character to them. Stretch, bend, and twist the boxes and cylinders like crazy. It'll help you loosen up a bit and working on volume.
I'd say those are the main two things you should work on right now. Also on time, do a time which is comfortable for you. Don't rush too much on 30 sec that you can't even recognize the gesture (because there were a few that I didn't know what was going on). Yes, less time will help on quick observation skills and loosening up but you need to build yourself first.
