Hi everyone

I'm actually quite new to this website and It's awesome to see so many people involved in the same careers. I have a situation, I'm going to just come out and say it. I've been looking into a few schools but could really use some advice on where to go to truly expand my horizons.

I want a career in animating characters but as well for game design such as animations for characters, or Character design. In short I want to be able to do both if the opportunity does come. I had CalArts in my mind and money would not be the issue fortunately I'm lucky to have very supportive parents. I want to get this right since it's my future life, I'm very dedicated and passionate in what I do. Could anyone give some advice to steer my in the right direction.

I can see myself working for a big animation company, but I was more interested in doing Game Design as well. I want to be able to do both say If I was more interested in another I would then continue to do so, but which school would provide that??

As well is CalArts specifically focused on 2d animation?
