Wow your art is fantastic, I really hope you get into Calarts and I wish you the best of luck! That's awesome that you also got accepted into LCAD. I'm thinking that's where I'm going to attend this next fall, and I'll just apply to Calarts while attending LCAD so that way if I don't get accepted to Calarts at least I am at an art college. I didn't go for Ringling personally because I'm not too interested in computer animation. Yeah, again, I really regret not applying but I'm going to give it my best shot when I do! And thank you!

Hey guys! I am also going to be applying to Calarts for 2014. I was going to apply this year because I'm a senior, but at the last minute I had major self-esteem issues and felt I wasn't good enough and backed out and never did apply. I really regret it also because when I went to National Portfolio Day the guy said I was close to being at Calarts level and that my sketchbooks were great and to turn them in so all I really had to do was work a little harder and I might have had a chance. Sigh. Right now I'm conflicted because I got accepted into LCAD, and I'm not sure whether to play it safe and go there, or wait a year and take my chances with Calarts. I've wanted to go to Calarts so badly though, so I might take my chances. But decisions like this are never easy to make. Also I'll probably start posting my art soon because critiques would be absolutely lovely.
