    Portfolio Size?
Hi! So I'd recently been talking with one of my friends in california and how she'd been going to studio classes for some time. She showed me some of the gesture and life drawings they would do and I couldn't help noticing they were on these MASSIVE sheets of paper (she said it was about 32x28 or something around that).

So I was wondering exactly how massive a portfolio case/finished life work would be appropriate for submitting to art colleges (Calarts, LCAD, CCA, etc) because she'd said the minimum I should consider would be 18x24.

And I was also wondering the same for submitting sketchbooks? Since the many portfolios I'd see here or somewhere else on the web were fairly miniscule, they looked to be about 3 1/2x 5 1/2? Or maybe a tad bigger, I couldn't be quite sure.

Thanks to anyone who can help out!   less
