Hey all! Idk if you guys remember me from the 2011 CalArts "waiting room" thread, but I waited a while and didn't get in. :/ I'll be going to Biola University in the fall (nvm why, its kind of a long story) and plan on applying again this fall for 2012.
I've been working hard these couple months on my life drawings, and I'd love it if you guys could gove me some tips both on my life drawing, and on my last portfolio in general.
This is the portfolio (yes, i'm a little embarassed) (also I had a small amount of video content from my summer at CSSSA in 2010, but it wasn't really memorable I guess, so its not here) http://www.flickr.com/photos/62053499@N04/sets/72157626575387003/
And this is my website that I usually update with my weekly life drawings http://renegade-pencils.tumblr.com/
Libby was of course very sweet and told me that my sketchbook could use more observational drawings. She said 50% observation would be a good idea. She also told me that the mascara life drawing (its the first one, and yes I used mascara for it) was a strong piece.
So, yeah! I'd love to hear from you all on how I can improve my work and my portfolio! Thanks for your time :)
