Hi guys, so I was wondering about including animated shorts and pencil tests in my potrfolio. I plan on applying to CalArts, among other art schools, and just wanted to know how much influence is that on the admission people's minds when admitting/rejecting me (I can't type right now, my brain is mush). I have a friend who's a CalArts alumni who told me Corny Cole admitted her mainly because of a short she did when she was 17.
